Palmieri Tyler sponsored the "2008 Forensic Science Education Series", a four-part lecture series which recently concluded at UC Irvine. This series was presented by the UC Irvine Newkirk Center for Science and Society and the UC Irvine Center for Psychology and the Law. The 2008 series events included "Methods and Madness: The Humble State of Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology" (March 12, 2008); "Less Guilty by Reason of Adolescense" (May 28, 2008); "Neurolaw: Revolution - and Retreat(?)" (September 24, 2008); and "Danger and Disorder: New Developments in Violence Risk Assessment and Management" (November 13, 2008).
