Mr. Parr is a founding partner of Palmieri, Tyler. In addition to his
general business practice, Mr. Parr specializes in the formation, financing
and operation of joint ventures, limited liability companies and partnerships,
as well as partnership taxation. He also frequently counsels early stage
companies in the legal aspects of their initial organization and on raising
capital from private sources.
Mr. Parr received his A.B. from Duke University in 1973 and his J.D. from
Georgetown University in 1977, where he was the editor of its Law and
Policy in International Business Journal. He is the author of "Export-Import
Bank Section of Administrative Survey: Oct. 1974 to Sept. 1975,"
8 Law and Policy Intern'l Bus. 279 (1976), and "Qualification as
Selected Purchaser in Customs Valuation," 9 Law and Policy Intern'l
Bus. 697 (1977). Mr. Parr served as a law clerk to the Trial Division
of the United States Court of Claim from 1977 to 1978. He is a member
of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the Orange
County Bar Association.
In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Parr has served as League
Commissioner for both the Irvine Youth Basketball League and Region 144
of the American Youth Soccer Organization, and on the Region 144 Board
of Directors as its Treasurer. Currently he serves as Treasurer of the
Woodbridge High School Boosters Club.
