Richard A. Salus

Mr. Salus is a partner of Palmieri, Tyler.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Riverside (B.A., with honors, History, 1986) and his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of Law (J.D., 1989).  Mr. Salus practices in the Estate Planning and Estate Administration Department as well as the Corporate Department.

Mr. Salus' estate practice focuses on meeting the needs of high net worth individuals by providing legal guidance as to estate planning, family corporate matters, including succession planning, and general real estate and business matters.  He has extensive experience in counseling clients regarding general and sophisticated estate and gift tax planning and in preparing wills, trusts, and other documents related to estate and gift tax planning.  He also represents executors and trustees in decedents' estates and prepares court documents and tax returns for estates and trusts.

Mr. Salus' corporate practice ranges from the representation of start-up companies to multi-million dollar corporations and includes the creation and ongoing representation of nonprofit corporations.  Mr. Salus' range of experience allows for legal representation aimed at fulfilling the overall legal needs of the individual client.

Mr. Salus is a member of the American and Orange County Bar Associations.  He also serves as a Board Member and pro bono Legal Counsel for the California Chapter of the March of Dimes; a Board Member of the Capistrano Valley High School Foundation; and Chair of the annual Drive-Out ALS Golf Tournament to benefit the Orange County Chapter of the ALS Association.
