Trusts and Estates Paralegal
The position would start at 3 days a week with the goal to become full-time. A paralegal certificate is required. Legal experience is a plus; however, training will be provided. The candidate should be organized, have excellent computer skills and a math aptitude, be detail oriented, able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Duties to include: preparation of estate and gift tax returns, accountings and legal notices; communication with clients; gather information to prepare trust administration documents; prepare trust administration documents, such as trust certifications, allocation of assets and all documents related to asset transfers to beneficiaries.
