HAPPY 85TH BIRTHDAY NANCY!
Nancy D. Simpson, a paralegal in the firm’s Estate Planning Practice area, celebrated her 85th birthday on October 31, 2014.
In 1951, Nancy graduated from Wheaton College, Norton, Massachusetts with a B.A. in political science and a split minor in economics and history. In February, 1975, Nancy received a certificate in Attorney Assistant Training – Probate Administration from UCLA School of Law Extension Program, a course in which James Kindel, a founding partner of Kindel & Anderson, had a part in designing.
Nancy and her husband, Alec, who has been retired for over 20 years, enjoy traveling to many different countries. They also enjoy visits from their three children, Alex, Jr., Katherine and Sarah and their 6 grandchildren. Nancy and Alec participate in Pilates classes twice a week!
Nancy was hired by Jim Wilhelm in 1975, to work in the Orange County office of Kindel and Anderson. Nancy specializes in probate and trust administration. Nancy also prepares federal estate tax returns, gift tax returns and accountings for estates and conservatorships.
Nancy works full time and when asked why she doesn’t retire and enjoy more traveling with her husband, Alec, she would tell you: “Working at Palmieri Tyler keeps me active. I love the mental challenge, especially working with numbers and difficult accountings.”
With over 39 years at the firm, she has been and continues to be a valuable asset of the firm. We wish her many more birthdays and if we’re lucky, we will be able to enjoy them with her during her continued tenure here at Palmieri Tyler.
