Ninth Circuit OK’s Facebook Putting User’s Kids In Its Ads
The Ninth Circuit affirmed Friday that Facebook can use underage users’ likenesses in ads, ruling against a group of minors who claimed that their proposed class action should be revived because they couldn’t have legally entered into a contract with the social media giant given their age.

Facebook Dodges $15 Billion Litigation Attempt
A California federal judge tossed four Facebook users’ multi-district litigation seeking $15 billion over allegations the social media site tracked their Internet activity after they logged out of the service, saying in a ruling Friday that the users hadn’t suffered economic damage or shown Facebook violated privacy laws.
