Small Restaurants Seek Big League Through Franchises

Michael Cho was interviewed by the Orange County Business Journal for a November 17 story about the growth of local restaurants through franchising. Cho, whose clients include restaurants, said franchise agreements – and the company’s commitment to it – is the “Number one thing.” Handle that, and franchising has benefits, he said. The article covered known establishments like The Pizza Press, the latest to enter the franchising business. Lake Forest-based Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurants started franchising in August. It has eight corporate locations, with three of them in Orange County. Vitalty Café, in Costa Mesa is slated to offer franchises early in 2015, according to the OC Business Journal article.
